Being on a trip abroad doesn’t mean that you are unreachable for your relatives. Regardless the place of your location it is important for your family members, colleagues and clients to be in regular contact with you. We can offer you different ways to keep contacts with them: such as making a call, sending SMS or using E-mail.
How does it work?
It is very easy to make a call and send SMS when you are abroad. We have divided the world into 4 zones in order to provide you comfortable and easy connection. This is the easiest and most comfortable way of calling and texting from abroad. You shall pay the same transparent prices for received and outgoing calls, SMS and using internet traffic depending on zone you are located in and services you are using. Thus you shall be informed about your costs. The Vodafone World Service is the part of your Tariff Plan
Before going to trip
In case if you have never left the country with your mobile phone before, make sure that you can use your mobile number out of the country. To check these all and activate calls within the Roaming Service please apply to the Azerfon – Vodafone Centers.
You can get updated information on the costs of receiving calls, receiving and sending SMS and using internet within the Roaming Service visiting the web site or calling 1188.
Arriving in the destination country
After arriving in the destination country, you will receive SMS about the costs to call home and other useful information. Your mobile phone will automatically start to search for the network of local operator.
Control your expenses through Vodafone World
You can check your expenses through the Internet Customer Services dialing the code *100# to enter Azerfon – Vodafone Interactive Customer Services or visiting the web site.
How to top-up balance abroad?
It is advised to take a few Azerfon – Vodafone Charging Cards while leaving for a trip. You can charge your balance through these cards in ordinary ways.
How much to pay?
You are going to pay based on the conditions of one of the 4 Tariff Plans of each zone depending on the country where you are traveling. The prices are valid for all the customers of Azerfon – Vodafone and there is no need for you to join any other tariff plan. The prices do not depend on the local network selected by your mobile phone.

Notes:
- The tariffication interval shall be implemented on the following basis: the first minute of calls is completed for 60 seconds, further 30 seconds completion is on;
- During the data roaming use the tariffication of internet traffic is calculated with 10 KB combination;
- The following operations are not available within Vodafone World Service:
- Calls to the satellite networks;
- Calls to CSD/WAP;
- Calls and SMS to the Premium Numbers in Roaming covered country.
Service activation:
If the owner of number (legal owner) is a physical entity he/she has to apply to one of the Azerfon – Vodafone Centers with the ID card and should charge some amount of money to the account according to current tariffs.
If the owner of number (legal owner) is a legal entity he/she has to apply to one of the Azerfon – Vodafone Centers with the letter prepared in standard form providing the activation of Roaming Service signed by the authorized representative of the entity.
